Slow Post Paper Club is a creative mail project built around the idea that slowing down is not only a form of care but also art. In a world that often feels fast, loud, and constantly demanding attention, this space was created as a quieter alternative, one that values intention over urgency and process over perfection.

As a registered nurse working in a high-paced environment, I often move between moments of intensity and care. Outside of work, I found myself reaching for something grounding: paper, paint, writing, and small acts of making. Over time, these quiet creative rituals became a way to reconnect with myself and the world around me.

Slow Post Paper Club grew from that practice. Each month, carefully assembled mail is sent out as an invitation to pause and engage with creativity in a tactile, unhurried way. It is a space for reflection, experimentation, and simple enjoyment of handmade things.

More than anything, this project is about creating room to slow down, one envelope, one moment at a time.

  • Slow Post Paper Club is a monthly mail subscription designed to inspire creativity, connection, and slower living. Each delivery includes an original colour art print, a black-and-white print, a themed sticker sheet, and a curated collection of ephemera to use in journaling, collage, mail art, and creative play. Thoughtfully assembled with care, every package is an invitation to slow down, create without urgency, and reconnect with the simple joy of making something by hand.

  • A Slow Post Paper Club subscription is $10 per month. If you choose a recurring monthly subscription, you'll receive a discounted rate of $9.20 per month. Your subscription can be managed or cancelled at any time.

  • At this time, Slow Post Paper Club ships within Canada only. As a small, independently run mail club, we're starting close to home while we grow. We hope to expand to additional countries in the future, so if you're joining us from outside Canada, we'd love to hear from you and hope to offer international shipping down the road.

  • Yes. If you choose the recurring subscription option, payments are processed automatically each month through Squarespace, so you’ll continue to receive your Slow Post Paper Club mail without needing to manually renew. You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
